We had an exciting start to the month of May today when Romney Marsh Morris Dancers came to perform three types of traditional country dancing from around England. Our lovely Mrs Ruffhead was one of the dancers and the children joined in with the final dance after being taught some basic steps.

What a fantastic start to May, many of the children had never seen this style of dance before so our thanks go to this talented group for taking the time to share an old tradition.

If you would like to see the Romney Marsh Morris Dancers they will be performing on Saturday 5th May at the following places:
12noon Red Lion Snargate
2.00p.m. Ypres Castle Inn, Rye
4.00p.m. Robin Hood, Icklesham.

Then on Sunday 27th May:
1.00p.m. The Inkerman Arms, Rye Harbour

We hope you will be able to go along and support the group
