Barracudas and Cuttlefish visited Battle Abbey on Wednesday 28th September. The children all looked absolutely amazing in their costumes and thank you to all those that helped this happen.

Everyone had a fantastic day visiting the museum and then actually walking in the footsteps of the Normans and Saxons on the actual battlefield. The day concluded with a full scale (non-contact) re-enactment of the famous battle. Throughout the day the children were praised not just by the staff but the members of public for their politeness and outstanding behaviour.

We left the Abbey feeling very proud of our Rye Community Primary School children.
